Re: Need feedback about my FlashGot-like addon
You can also use option to ignore files smaller than specific size in MB. If there are thumbnails or something other small files clutching your list then that might help to filter from them. Unfortunately it's global, so no small file even while manual downloading would be grabbed. But maybe using t...

Re: Need feedback about my FlashGot-like addon
You can change the maximum number of items in the settings. Default is 20. I also use option to ignore common web files, so mostly medias are appearing in the list. You can also manually add extensions that will be ignored. You can also manually clear the list and then load the page you want to grab...

Re: Need feedback about my FlashGot-like addon
Looks like Firefox Send is a download manager itself like mega. DLG shouldn't launch on those downloads, cuz no download manager would be able to do anything with them. I don't really know how exactly that works, but seems those web download managers download files to the cache and then they can be ...

Re: Need feedback about my FlashGot-like addon
in addition to "feeding" links to a download manager, could also "detect" links (i.e., FlashGot Media), which this doesn't do at all It has a toolbar button that grabs many files to its list. Also medias, maybe not all of them, but still. As I use it now it detects all mp4 video...

Re: Need feedback about my FlashGot-like addon
Great, seems everything you mentioned works properly now. Thanks
I'll be waiting for more improvements to test them anytime.

Re: Need feedback about my FlashGot-like addon
Okay, now it works. :D First thing it tries to download script or font files while loading some pages which is strange. Doesn't do it when I exclude common web files though. I've reported them, so maybe you'll be able to fix it. On some pages though it opened empty windows with a reset slider (?), s...

Re: Need feedback about my FlashGot-like addon
Installer generally is a good idea, but rather for the final version. As for testing it's best to keep it the most simple as it can be for quickly access. In the meantime you'll figure out how to make the installer to not be falsly detected as a virus, but testing itself can't wait. BTW I use AVG (r...

Re: Need feedback about my FlashGot-like addon
Can't download the native client. My antivirus claims it's a trojan. Could you fix that?
I guess the installer is a problem, so maybe post it normally without installer?

Re: Need feedback about my FlashGot-like addon
It's great idea and I would like really to use it, but it doesn't work in Waterfox Current.
I'm getting an error after installing that download grab could not be initialized.

Re: Waterfox Current
GµårÐïåñ's comment isn't insulting anyone. It's only descriptive of the situation. I still have a different opinion on that. Maybe that being overdescriptive is offending. No one is forcing anyone to be rude, people choose to be. Everyone can express themselves normally. GµårÐïåñ chose differently ...

Re: Waterfox Current
maxoku, have you ever tried to write legacy extensions for Waterfox Current? What kind of question is that? I'm a user, not a developer or programist. What else can I do? What other alternative I have? The only thing I can do is to ask the creator to rewrite it. If you have any other suggestions th...

Re: Waterfox Current
remain on a deprecated and unsafe attempt to remain in the past. What is deprecated and unsafe in this, not mentioning about a past? There is no other alternative. For all those years no one has made anything like this (legacy or webextension). I want to download files with my external download man...

Waterfox Current
Please rewrite FlashGot for Waterfox Current. It supports legacy add-ons, but they need to be rewritten to new system. There is no other add-on (legacy or webextension) with this functionality, so please consider it. Of course while Waterfox Current is only multiprocessed the bugs of it would need t...
